How to make

1. Preheat oven to 165 degrees. Peel and coarsely chop the onion. Peel and chop the garlic cloves. In a large saucepan over high heat, heat the oil. Season the beef well with salt and pepper. Fry the meat on both sides, about 2 minutes on each side. Remove the meat from the heat. Reduce heat to medium.

2. Add the chopped onion and garlic to a hot pan. Stir for 30 seconds. Pour in beer, add thyme, rosemary, salt to taste - about 1 teaspoon. Do not oversalt!

3. Place the beef in the pan, press down to dip in the liquid. Cover and bake in the oven for 1/2 to 3 hours until the meat is tender.
